Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the CarFinder app, hereby referred to as the Application, for mobile devices that was created by Spitzwerk Studio, hereby referred to as the Service Provider, as a free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

What Information Does the Application Obtain and How Is It Used?

The Service Provider does not collect, sell, or use your personal information for advertising or analytics. Registration with the Service Provider is not required to use the Application.

CarFinder lets you save parking details such as garage, level, spot number, address, notes, reminder time, and recent parking history. This information is stored locally on your device.

CarFinder can save your current location while you use the app so you can find your parked car later. Saved coordinates and current location readings are used on your device to show distance, display the saved parking position, and open Apple Maps for navigation.

CarFinder can use the camera or system photo picker so you can attach a photo of your parking spot. Parking photos are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded by the Service Provider.

CarFinder can schedule local notifications for parking reminders. The reminder content and schedule are handled by iOS on your device.

Does the Application Collect Precise Real-Time Location Information of the Device?

The Application can access precise location while you use the app if you grant permission. Location is used to save where you parked and guide you back to your car. The Service Provider does not receive, store, or track your location on its servers.

Do Third Parties See and/or Have Access to Information Obtained by the Application?

Since the Application does not collect personal information for the Service Provider, no personal data is shared by the Service Provider with third parties.

If you choose to open a saved parking position in Apple Maps, that action is handled by Apple Maps and Apple's terms and privacy practices may apply.

The Application does not use analytics, advertising, third-party SDKs, tracking technologies, or tracking domains.

What Are My Opt-Out Rights?

You can stop all access by the Application by uninstalling it. You can also disable location, camera, photo library, or notification permissions in your device settings, although the related features may not work without those permissions.

Children

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider at contact@spitzwerk-studio.com so that the necessary actions can be taken.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. CarFinder stores parking sessions and photos locally on your device and does not store them on Service Provider servers.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
